Join Karen Wang Diggs in this iconic bookstore for all book lovers. She will do a reading of The Book Awesome Asian Women and share the story of her aunt (from the last generation of Chinese women subjected to foot-binding), who inspired her to write the book.
Karen will also be in conversation with Katie Quan of RealSoul and Tina Pham of Persimmon Acupuncture.

This conversation between three Asian American women will honor the spirit of AAPI month, and encompass debunking the stereotypes cast upon Asian women, the result of colonization, and the intersection of education and health to empower women as they navigate the ever changing, and ever challenging political and social landscape of the 21st century.
